Citizens of the EU / EEA / Swiss Confederation and their family members may carry out commercial or economic activities in Romania under the same conditions as Romanian citizens. For businesses that involve commercial or economic activities, it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the National Office of theTrade Register ONRC.
Documents to be provided:
Commercial activities
1. standard application;
2. identity card or passport (original and copy);
3. the ascertaining certificate issued by the National Office of the Trade Register, hereinafter referred to as O.N.R.C., by which it can be proved that it carries out commercial activities in accordance with the law – it has the quality of administrator;
Economic activities
1. standard application;
2. identity card or passport (original and copy);
3. proof that the applicant can exercise economic activity under the conditions established by OUG no. 44/2008 with subsequent amendments and completions – Certificate issued by the O.N.R.C. (original and copy);
