Traineeship and apprenticeship

There are flexible educational paths suitable for different situations and personal profiles, in the following areas:

  • Recognition, Validation and Certification of Skills (RVCC) – allows to recognize, validate and certify the knowledge and skills resulting from the learnings carried out by adults throughout their lives, in formal, non-formal and informal contexts.
  • Adult Education and Training (EFA) is an education and training offering for adults who want to raise their qualifications. These courses are developed along double certification paths.
  •  Technological Specialization – these are non-higher post-secondary training courses that prepare for a scientific or technological specialization in a specific training area, aim to provide a level 4 professional qualification, with the approximate duration of one year (between 1200 hours and 1560 hours) .
  • Modular Training – Continuous training of active workers, gives adults the possibility to acquire more skills in order to obtain more school qualifications and professional qualifications, with a view to (re) insertion or progression in the labor market.
  • Secondary Education Level Completion Paths– these are responses created for those who attended, without completing, secondary education level training courses
  • Professional internship (IEFP): development of practical experience in the workplace, which cannot consist of occupying a job.

The recognition of Foreign Qualifications can be done through academic recognition or through professional recognition. Academic recognition is a process by which a foreign academic qualification is compared to a Portuguese qualification in terms of level, duration and program content. Professional recognition is the authorization by a competent authority (Ministry, Order, etc.) to exercise a specific regulated profession or professional activity.

The recognition of Foreign Qualifications; In schools in the respective area of residence in the national territory, formalizing the request for equivalence in their own application ( o be provided by the school).
